Junior Jeffrey Perry Talks Golf


  Jeffrey Perry is a junior at San Luis Obispo and has been playing on the golf team for three years. He is consistently seen as a star because of his way of pushing himself, even when he is under pressure. The years that he has been on the SLOHS boys golf team, he has excelled on varsity and is determined to stay. Expressions asked him a few questions about his experiences with golf.

Expressions: How many years have you been playing golf?

Junior Jeffrey Perry: I’ve been playing golf thirteen years.

Expressions: What’s your favorite element of playing golf?

Perry: My favorite element of golf is the grind, or practicing with my team.

Expressions: Why do you enjoy playing golf competitively?

Perry: I enjoy it because it puts you in a pressure situation and makes you come through for your team.

Expressions:  What’s your biggest accomplishment while playing golf at SLOHS?

Perry: Probably making it to CIF and making it to the second round of CIF individuals.

Expressions: What’s the best score you have achieved when playing golf at SLOHS?

Perry: I did 78 on 18 holes.
